OU Football anyone...

I think I know someone who might be ready...and he keeps saying it over and over again. It may have something to do with Sean and I, but SE probably would have picked it up on his own somehow, right?

Momma, I pooped!

I've heard the numerous stories from friends who have little boys about waking up from naps to find their little ones playing in their poop. Most times poop around the mouth, usually in it, has also been involved. So I wasn't too caught off guard the other day when I woke up to SE saying "poop, poop" over the monitor. I went into his room and immediately smelled what he was informing me had happened. Then I turned on the light...yep, he was accurate in his statements that he had pooped and indeed it was covering him. The thought of "where do I start" flashed through my mind, and I, of course, did what any good mom does right...I got my camera and took pictures. Thankfully, there were only two spots of it on his face...one on his nose and then forehead, none around his mouth. I might not have made it through the cleaning process had it been around his mouth. And also thankfully Sean came home while I had started the bath and was in the midst of cleaning off SE. Oh little boys...what would we do without them?!

A Day in the Life of SE...

This is occasionally what Sean Edward will do...thus the reason I've nicknamed him Mr. Destructo!

Tour de France anyone?

Definitely a YES for the Boyd casa, youngest member included! A special thanks to Aunt Emma for getting SE the awesome Tour de France onesie...he looks pretty darn cute in it!

Choo choo with Papa

SE has a love for choo choo trains. Every time we go over train tracks he choo choos. And it just so happens that my dad, SE's beloved Papa, is a Kiwanis member in Duncan and has to operate the choo choo train at Kiddie Land Park. So we've been waiting for the opportunity to take SE to ride the train with Papa. SE didn't do so good waiting for the other kids to get on the train, but once it started, he had a super fun time and also got a private ride with just him and Papa. Thanks, Dad! SE loves you!

Waiting in line for the first ride!

Riding with Papa!

Having such a fun time!

Father's Day

We had a really fun father's day. We began with breakfast bagels, house church, a Mickey Mouse cake more so for SE than Sean, and finished the day with great friends and a swim at the Trails! Happy Father's Day, babe! You are one awesome dada, and we love you very much!

Time for an update...

We've done a lot and yet not done a lot at the same time...here are some highlights through pictures...

We've been to the zoo a couple of times.
SE learned how to climb up the play set.
He also learned how to get incredibly dirty.
Sean had his first triathlon, which we braved rain and all.
Allison gave SE his first "real" hair cut; Millie offered her expertise.
My sweet sister graduated college w/ her dental hygiene degree!
SE played outside, rain or shine, it's one of his favorite places to be.
He will also play in his sandbox regardless of what it is full of.

Oops...paci in the toilet...hmm wonder how it got there.

SE's favorites, Terah (Sarah) and Cowin (Colin) asked SE to be their ring bearer.
We are already practicing!
