I met my sweet friend, Jennifer Knight, 4 years ago when I started working at Chesapeake. She had been there a year and a half. When we met, I didn't know what good friends we would become and how many big things in life we would share. We saw a marriage and the births of both of our first borns. Jennifer left Chesapeake officially on October 2nd to become a stay-at-home momma to her sweet Londyn. We are so happy for her! J-Knig

Dada, I'm gonna get you.
First OU football game!
I decided to take Sean Edward to his first OU football game. Sean got us tickets around other families from his office so I thought how bad could it be, right? After waiting in the extremely long line for the wrong section, then sitting in the wrong section and moving to the right section, we got situated. SE was in heaven being around all those people; his face literally lit up when he noticed all of them. Unfortunately, he wanted to get down to play with all the people around us and let's face it, an OU football game is not too conducive to a crawling baby. So we made it until there was 5 minutes left in the first quarter and took off on the trek back to the car. He was asleep before we even made it out of the parking lot (b/c the game was right in the middle of nap time). For the rest of the season, we will probably be watching the games at home!
Play time w/ Sophie
One of my best friends and I have babies 9 days apart. Originally Meg was due 9 days before me, but then SE surprised us by coming 3.5 weeks early and exactly 9 days before sweet Sophie Doke SO it should not be a shock to anyone that Meg and I kind of have our babies' wedding pretty much planned out. I mean, look at the two of them...they may not know it yet, but they are already in love!
Last days of summer...
Forgive my lag in time between posts...be prepared, there is major make up coming. SE's Nanna (my mom) got him this fun splash mat a while ago. We only got to use it once before the water season ended, but SE had an absolute blast. He was trying to catch the fountains, drink the water, laughing non-stop. Thanks Nanna; we love you!

To McKinney and beyond...
Last weekend we went to Sean's hometown of McKinney, TX for one of our dear friend's weddings. Danny and Kimberly got married on August 1, and their wedding was beautiful. Danny is one of Sean's oldest and dearest friends. It was so much fun to get to be a part of their special day and to see so many of Sean's great friends. We took SE w/ us, and he did great at both the rehearsal dinner (where he stayed up 2 hours past bed time w/ little fussing) and at the wedding (we did have to excuse ourselves to the foyer w/ the other parents/kids) and then at the reception. Danny & Kim...thank you so much for including us for one of the most important days of your lives. We thank God for bringing you to together and pray nothing but His infinite love and blessings over your life. You will have a blast being married!! We love you both!

cowboy hat...what a cutie!

worked at while he was in high school.

So tired...but so glad he got to see
uncle Danny get married!
