Our weekend...
Baby Sean woke up Saturday and was the most slobbery he's been since 3 months ago when we initially thought he was teething...well, it appears that some teethers might finally be making their debut...so how we spent our weekend: teething tablets, Motrin, freezer fish, and what has turned out to be the best teething tool ever...SE's PACIFIER. Yes, the child never wanted to use it for its intended pacifier purposes, but he definitely likes to gnaw on while those teeth have been deciding whether they want to surface. Hopefully, in the next week we'll get to post pictures of those bothersome teethers!

My picture taking abilities...
Can you find Sean in these pics? I try to take pictures of Sean at all his triathlons, but sometimes, the pictures don't turn out that great...these are a great example! I left out the ones of random strangers; I usually end up taking at least one of those thinking it's Sean then to find out later it wasn't!

4 YEARS!
Today is Sean's and my 4 year anniversary. It's so crazy to look back 4 years ago at when we were first starting out...to compare who we were then to who we are now. God has grown us tremendously both as individuals and as husband and wife. I thank Him every day for my sweet, amazing husband who I've watched become an amazing father w/ SE...he is my very best friend, and I'm so blessed that he is the man God picked for me to spend the rest of my life with. I love you, babe!
Colorado...
We went to Durango, CO to visit some friends and so Sean could participate in the Iron Horse road race (bicycle)...it's a 52 mile ride over several mountain passes. We had a great time catching up with our dear friends the Schills and the Dolders. SE had a great time and learned to do all sorts of things while we were there!

Yeah so maybe the blog wasn't my best idea...
But seriously, I'm going to try to update a little more frequently. Well, Sean Edward ("SE") is now almost 7 months old...he is seriously the light of our life. God has blessed us with such an amazing little boy...everyone always comments on how happy he is and in the words of SE's aunt Christa, "his smile can make you feel like a million bucks". He is sitting up by himself, babbling non-stop (he can say momma and dada), smiling super cheesy smiles for the camera (b/c he realizes what it is), and loves putting his feet up on stuff. We love us some SE!
